1.
Partnership among ministries is urgently necessary to bring in the
harvest.
2. Prayer is the foundation and the moving force.
3. Prosperity is for the spreading of the gospel.
4. Holy Spirit power is essential, especially in reaching the
unreached.
5. Martyrdom is a good goal for 21st century Christians.
6. Preaching is imperative in missions, with signs following.
7. God’s wisdom comes after gaining freedom from the fear of death.
8. Multi-national teams speed up everything.
9. Readiness for humanitarian emergencies will propel us to the
frontline of world harvest.
10. Prepare to harvest in the strongholds, and among the worst
enemies of mankind.
11. Immediate action is the plan, unless God gives orders to delay.
12. Put determined trust before suspicion in our working
relationships.
13. The vision and work of others is our highest priority.
14. Serve rather than rule.
15. Steward -- rather than own -- money, property, ideas, or
ministries.
16. Most importantly, get people saved; also work on restoring
neighborhoods, cities, and regions.
17. Exist to catalyze the work of others.
18. Develop friendships for working in God's harvest.
19. Be a network of prayer, churches, pastors, missions,
missionaries and marketplace leaders for the end-time harvest.
20. Seek to be principle-based rather than personality dependent.
21. Let the light shine rather than hide in the darkness. Secrecy in
hard to find in the Bible as a strategy for ministry.
22. Let no thinking, planning, praying or decisions be based on
fear.
23. Use the oldest and the newest methods and tools available.
24. “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations…” (The Father said
to the Son)
25. "May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His
suffering!" (the cry of the Moravians)
26. The vision is all nations. No special guidance is needed to
establish this vision. We need no further direction from God for
this. He commanded us to go into all the world. Therefore, be
available to reach any and every nation, as God leads.
27. God prepares the harvest. Work wherever it is ripe and ready.
28. Discover where God is at work, and adjust our lives to be
involved with Him in His work.
29. Recognize divine moments, divine contacts, divine open doors,
and divine situations, and serve those divine appointments urgently
and completely.
30. Where God guides, He provides. Wisdom produces money; money does
not produce wisdom.
31. Establishing local churches is primary to the reaping of the
harvest. All effort should move in that direction. The local
church is the necessary setting for making disciples.
32. The best setting for teaching and training is involving new
believers in the work of ministry, under guidance. This also
produces many problems. It’s good to have these problems.
33. There is no perfect way to do the work of the gospel. All
methods will produce problems, and all ministers will make mistakes.
34. There are many Biblical ways to reap the harvest and build
church. The Bible is flexible in methods, structures, and forms of
leadership. If what a ministry does in its work is not against the
Bible, we are for them. They do not have to do it our way.
35. The character and presence of God in us (fruit of the Spirit)
is what makes any effort the right effort.
36. Many ministries begin, but fail for lack of encouragement and
assistance at the right time. A hug, a smile, a word, a prayer, and
a little financial help multiiply the number of successful
ministries. Those ministries greatly multiply the fruit gathered in
God’s harvest.
