Ukraine was called the
"bread basket for the nations" before Communism. It is in the
national temperament to feed people. Even in the midst of
poverty and lack, Ukrainians will seek to cover the table with
food. And God is raising the Churches of Praise out of poverty
and lack, to feed the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Under Communism, Ukraine was the
stronghold of the Christian faith in the Soviet Union. A large
percentage of churches of many denominations all over the
Russian speaking world were actually started and led by
Ukrainian missionaries. This is still true.
Ukrainians have favor in all Russian
speaking nations, and are able to come and go without visas.
This is God’s open door for Ukrainian missionaries.
God is multiplying workers and leaders
in the Churches of Praise who are on the move with the good news
of Jesus. No better investment can there be than to work beside
them, help them in any way possible, and cheer them on!
